Conference on ‘Solar Housing for Carbon Neutral Ladakh’ to be held

The Himalayan Institute of Alternatives, Ladakh( HIAL) is having a two day conference on Solar Housing to get a Co2 Neutral Ladakh on September 6 and 7 in the HIAL campus in Phyang.

Session about the two time conference, Sonam Wangchuk, Founding Manager of HIAL said that the conference will be focussing about sharing the findings and new research on passive solar heated up houses to own Prime Minister ‘s perspective of a Carbon Neutral Ladakh.

The conference may also provide a great opportunity for local individuals to purchase significance of passive sun heated building and techniques, the guy added.

On August 6, right now there will be a town area session and solar buildings travel at HIAL for the localized public. The session is slated at 01 SYM 30 pm for the HIAL ‘s amphitheater which can offer an opportunity for most to learn about the recurring solar heated( PSH) building structure techniques, its prospects, and challenges from local stakeholders like qualified solar house builders and companies.

Chief Executive Councillor( LAHDC Leh), Advocate Tashi Gyalson would become attending like the Chief Guest in the conference.

The wedding will sponsor an internationally renowned community in researchers and representatives of firms just like the Swiss Agency meant for Development and Cooperation( SDC), The power and Resources Institute( TERI), University of Techniques and Arts Northwestern Switzerland( FHNW), Zustande kommend Ventures, SHiFt Studios, etc. because speakers along with key regional stakeholders from both Leh and Kargil, including the Indian Military. The participants and guests will certainly discuss key subjects such because Passive Solar friendly simply by laws, financial and plan incentives, bottlenecks in training and capacity building, and also other challenges.
