Empowering Education: FLN TLM Mela 2023 in Leh District

On October 5, the District Institute of Education & Training in Leh organized the District-level FLN TLM Mela 2023 as a part of the NIPUN Bharat Mission at Eco Park, main market Leh. This event brought together the top ten schools representing all zones of Leh District.

Sonam Dorjey Namgail, Chief Education Officer of Leh, expressed his delight at the teachers’ dedication in creating child-friendly Teaching Learning Materials (TLMs). He encouraged them to seamlessly integrate these innovative TLMs into their daily classroom activities, aiming to enhance learning outcomes for students.

Deputy Commissioner Leh, Santosh Sukhadeve, visited all the stalls, motivating the participants to incorporate these creative tools into their teaching methods effectively.

In the competitive spirit of the event, CEO Leh, S D Namgail Govt Primary School Igoo Lankor secured the first position, followed by Council Model School Alchi in the second position and Govt High School Korzok Puga in the third position.

The deserving winners were honored with certificates and trophies, marking a significant step toward empowering education in the Leh District.
