Ladakh Education Fair 2022 to get held on 19– 20 August

Degree Department in collaboration with all the University of Ladakh and Ladakh Skill Development Mission is obtaining the very first Ladakh Education Fair on September 19 20 at EJM Leh, GDC Kargil, GDC Nubra, GDC Drass, and GDC Zanskar.

The Ladakh Education Fair is definitely supported by the Department from Information& Public Relations LACE Ladakh.

Ladakh Education Rational 2022 targets the learners better Secondary Schools of School X XII and their very own parents, students of ITIs, Polytechnic Colleges besides students of universities itself and shall offer counselling on the choice of subject matter, career guidance, apprise students regarding various scholarship schemes of GoI and Ladakh Administration and assist in them for applying for the Scholarships besides exposing students to skilling and apprenticeship opportunities. Free of charge Psychometric Tests for individuals and Job Counselling is also offered by the Ladakh Education Fair.

The data relating to various scholarships provided by the Ministry of Minority Affairs and Ministry of Tribal Affairs should be shared with the students by simply the officers in the Social& Tribal Welfare Department. AICTE would certainly interact with students within the Perfect Minister Special Scholarship Scheme( PMSSS) and respond to their concerns. Banks shall also disseminate specifics about various education loans that can easily be availed by students.

Sector Skill Councils, participating during the Fair shall demonstrate skill opportunities that can be presented in Colleges and Industrial Schooling Institutes, ITIs. Paints and Layer Sector Skill Council, Handicrafts and Carpet Sector Skill Council, Foodstuff Industry Capacity and Skill Motivation, Apparel, made Ups& Home Furnishing Sector Skill Authorities, Beauty& Wellness Sector Skill Council, Media& Entertainment Sector Skill Council, and Skill Authorities for Green Jobs are engaging in the Fair.

The Sector Skill Councils shall register learners for different Skill Development Shows and accordingly plan their Skill development programmes in Colleges and Schools. An expected outcome from the Ladakh Education Fair is definitely a tripartite agreement between the University of Ladakh, Sector Skill Council, and Ladakh Skill Expansion Mission to introduce credit supports based Skill Courses in every Universities as envisaged in the State Education Policy 2020. Ex supports Servicemen have also been specifically invited for the fair to uncover them to the plethora from skilling opportunities available.

The Rational shall also get together Institutions which have to offer Apprenticeships to students as per the Apprenticeship Act 1961. PSUs and Banks have been particularly encouraged to the fair to produce students aware about various Apprenticeship options that they can provide to the youth of Ladakh.
