Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puruskar is presented to the Ladakh Ski and Snow Board Association

Ladakh Ski and Snow Board Association received Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puruskar from the President of India. CEC, LAHDC, Kargil, Feroz Ahmad Khan felicitated and congratulated the association on December 8.

Chairman and CEC, LAHDC, Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan felicitated and congratulated Ladakh Ski and Snow Board Association for getting the prestigious Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puruskar from the President of India recently.

Feroz Khan appreciated the contribution of the association in promoting winter sports and said there is no dearth of talent among the youth in the district.

He also discussed the promotion of winter sports especially, Snow Ski in Kargil with the members and asked them to submit a proposal for the same to the Hill Council Kargil.

The members of the association thanked LAHDC, Kargil for supporting the association and further requesting the CEC to support the association in buying sports equipment to which the CEC assured to include it in a subsidized component of the LAHDC.

CEC said Kargil has huge potential for winter sports adding that LAHDC Kargil is committed to promoting winter sports for which many steps have been taken.

Executive Councilor Works, Mubarak Shah Naqvi, and EC Health, Mohsin Ali was also present during the occasion.
