Taikat govt senior school organises direct exposure tour

With 23 June, 55 students from Govt Graduating, Taikat and Barsoo Block visited the national and heritage sites of Kargil and Suru valley.

Students been to Styankong, the tomb of Suru Karchay Akhoon ‘s first Islamic preacher, Mohammad Sharief. The students found about Akhone Sharief ‘s contributions to teaching and spreading Islamic prices.

TheHeritage Tour motivated the students to learn, review and appreciate these sites.

They also visited the grave of Rgyal Khatoon, Karchay Khar Chamba and the palaces of Karchey Khar and Karpokhar. In the ending they also visited Damsna sea food farm.
